The Terms and Conditions apply to all business transactions carried out
by Pimp My Plate and any company owned or represented by Pimp My Plate,
herein after referred to as the 'Company'.The person/customer applying for
goods or services from the 'Company' is herein after referred to as the
'Purchaser'. Your Statutory Rights are not affected.
Under the Distance Selling Regulations, the Company must notify you that
the service we provide begins as soon as an order is received, be that by
internet, telephone or through traditional mail order systems. Subsequently,
there is no 'cooling off period', the transaction cannot be reversed and
no refund can be given. Under no circumstances whatsoever will the Company
be made responsible or liable for any request by the Purchaser to cancel,
abort or change the agreement.
Carriage
The Company will attempt to dispatch all goods within 24 hours
of receiving the order. All orders received after 1330hrs each Friday will
be classed as weekend orders. All weekend orders will be processed on the
following Monday morning. In the event of an order being received on a bank/public
holiday, the order will be processed on the next working day. Please allow
up to 6 working days for delivery. All orders are posted using Royal Mail
recorded delivery service. The Company reserves the right to use alternative
carriers where appropriate. The Company's liability is strictly limited
to a full refund only and no claims for damages, interest on monies paid
or any other expenses of any kind will be taken into consideration. The
Company cannot guarantee any specific time period for the transaction in
its entirety. The Company cannot accept responsibility for delays or errors
caused by the postal system, third party carriers or electronic mail. The
Company have no restrictions in shipping goods abroad. Simply select the
appropriate country when ordering. All non British orders will be accompanied
by a customs form detailing the goods and the cost of the goods. The Company
aims to deliver all non-British orders within 14 working days. Please be
aware that goods are posted using recorded delivery, and that the goods
may be held at your local post office in the event that a householder is
not present at the time of delivery. The Company reserves the right to contact
the Purchaser by telephone or any other means to confirm the identity and
payment details of the Purchaser. Any queries regarding carriage should
be directed to enquiries@pimpmyplate.com.
Returns Policy
Pimp My Plate go to every length to ensure that you are happy
with your purchase. If you do receive a defective product from the Company,
the Company offers a free replacement service. In order to receive replacement
goods, the Purchaser must inform the Company by email within 48 hours of
receiving the defective goods by emailing returns@pimpmyplate.com
stating clearly the reasons for the return. The Purchaser must package the
goods carefully and securely to ensure that the defective goods reach the
Company in perfect condition to be subject to inspection. The Purchaser
must return the goods within 14 days, and the Company advises the use of
a recorded delivery service to ensure that the defective goods arrive promptly
and securely. The Purchaser will not be charged any additional handling
or postage fees. The defective goods should be sent to: Pimp My Plate Customer
Care Dept, Pimp My Plate (Footwork Graphics), PO BOX 206, Holmfirth, HD9
9AF.
Design Policy
We reserve the right to alter and amend designs as necessary.
This may include the perceived size, colour and proportions of the designs
and fonts on each plate. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure
that fonts and logo's selected are suitable for the shape of plate. The
fonts, logo's and all designs on the 'number plate builder' act only as
a representation of the design you will received. We endeavour to be as
accurate as possible.
Secure Payment
Pimp My Plates only uses internationally recognised third
party payment processors to take your payment, namely WorldPay and PayPal.
You can therefore be rest assured that your payment is totally secure,
and that your credit/debit card details are not stored on any of our servers.
The Company operates a strict privacy policy, and we promise never to
disclose any customer information to third parties. If you prefer to make
payment using the telephone, simply call our office on 0870 803 4723 and
speak to a member of staff who will be happy to process your order.
Complaints
The company places an extremely high value on customer
satisfaction. If you do have a complaint regarding the Company and the
products and services we offer, please contact us at complaints@pimpmyplate.com.
All complaints will be dealt with promptly.
Errors & Omissions
The Company makes every effort to ensure that the information
on the website is accurate and current. The Company will correct any errors
brought to its attention. If you should discover any error on the website,
please bring it to our attention by emailing queries@pimpmyplate.com.
Show plate displays are for illustration only and actual show plates may
differ from those shown on the website. The Company reserves the right
to withdraw any product from sale, at any stage prior to dispatch for
any reason whatsoever. The Company does not guarantee the accuracy of
the colours displayed on the website in relation to the colours on the
finished product.
Disclaimer
All showplates ordered from the Company are for off-road
use only, for example, track days, cruises on private roads and trade
shows etc. The show plates are designed for this purpose only and may
not comply fully with requirements for use on public roads in the United
Kingdom. The company accepts no liability when the Purchaser or any other
party uses the show plates on public roads in the United Kingdom. Purchasers
ordering vinyl showplates or sponsor graphics need to ensure that the
vehicle and the vehicle surface which the vinyl will be adhered to is
prepared properly, and that said surface is able to accept a vinyl adhesive.
A test vinyl will be included in each package for the Purchaser to test
on the surface, in an small area out of general view. The company cannot
be held responsible for any damage caused either directly or indirectly
by using our products.
Copyright
The design, text and all coding/scripting is wholly owned
by the Company and is Copyright of Pimp My Plate. All logos, product names
and brands are the property of their respective owners, and are offered
as a convenience. The Company is totally separate and distinct from the
companies who own the logos, brands and product names contained on the
website. No guarantees are given or implied as to the accuracy of any
logo, brand name or border or to the accuracy of any colours used. Before
you purchase a showplate containing any logo, you must first receive permission
from the holder of the copyright or trademark of that logo. The Purchaser
agrees to hold harmless and indemnify the Company for any liability incurred
as a result of the Purchaser's unauthorised use of any material contained
in the showplates, including but not limited to use of logos in violation
of any right of the copyright or trademark holder of said logos. Contact
us immediately and we will remove your logo from this site if you do not
want your logo displayed.
